The Marketplace at Hillsboro is a 145,000
SF community shopping center located in Coconut Creek, one
of Broward County’s fastest growing cities adjacent to
Boca Raton, Florida. The center is anchored by Staples and
Walgreens. Other national tenants include U.S. Postal Service,
a newly opened Burger King, and Goodyear Tire.
The Center is located at the intersection of Lyons Road (a
major north/south artery which connects the property to Boca
Raton) and Hillsboro Boulevard (an eight and 10 lane, east/west
road which is lined with commercial activity). The property
is approximately 1 mile west of Florida’s Turnpike, 5
miles west of I-95, and 1-mile east of U.S. 441. Coconut Creek
is located in Broward County, immediately south of Boca Raton
and approximately 20 minutes northwest of Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Coconut Creek has experienced rapid population growth since
2000 (an annual increase of 13%) with additional growth of
10% anticipated by 2010.
