Craig I. Menin, Chief Executive Officer
A graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Menin began his career as a real estate broker before founding Menin Development Companies, Inc. in New York City in 1985. Within two years, at age 26, he had purchased six shopping centers in Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. Menin moved his company’s operations to Virginia shortly thereafter, where he continued to acquire and develop a number of retail properties throughout the region.
In 1995, Menin established a Florida division, and relocated the company to Palm Beach County the following year.
Today, Menin Development owns and manages more than $800 million of high quality shopping centers, with another 2.1 million square feet under development. Menin continues to explore new acquisition and development opportunities, with additional plans to expand and enhance current holdings.
Menin is as a board member of the Palm Beach County Cultural Council and on the Executive Committee of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. He and his wife are actively involved in a number of philanthropic efforts, including the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Quantum House, March of Dimes, Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Norton Museum of Art, Nicklaus Children’s Charities, and the Scripps Research Institute of Florida.
